St. Mary Student Parish is the spiritual home for Catholic students at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Over 1,000 students worship and participate in a variety of activities at St. Mary each school year.
We are a welcoming community engaged in the service of faith and the promotion of justice, whether we are celebrating mass or praying in Eucharistic Adoration, standing up for the oppressed, or offering direct service to the poor and marginalized of our community. We are a Eucharist centered community, engaging in a life rooted in the Sacraments. Students gather every day at the Newman Center to interact, study and build community.
Michigan Catholics is the core mission of St. Mary Student Parish. With a mix of students and resident parishioners, the St. Mary’s community strives to be a spiritual home for students, encouraging them to deepen their faith and live a fuller richer life.
Michigan Catholics seeks to reflect the values of the Catholic Church, but membership is open to any current student at the University of Michigan, regardless of religious affiliation. All are welcome to join us!
