Assistive Listening System

We recently installed a new system to aid people with hearing. 

Here is some information on how to use it. 

There are 2 options:

• You want to use your own phone
• You want to sign out a device

On your own phone

• Download the “Listen everywhere” app from App Store or Google Play
• Connect to Wi-Fi “SMSP listen assist”
• Enter Password “homilynow”
• The app will scan to find available audio streams
• Choose Church or Donnelly Hall

• Decide how you want to listen:
• Bluetooth for people for have Bluetooth hearing aids: pair hearing aids using hearing aids app
• T-coil: select T-Coil using hearing aid app
• Headphone (headphone will be available at the main office)

You want to borrow a device

• Go the main office to sign out a device (and headphone if needed)
• Turn on the device (power button on the right).
• Go into the church.
• Verify that you are connected to “SMSP Listen Assist”
• Venue scan screen will appear
• Choose Church or Donnelly Hall from available audio streams.
• Doble click on the power button to get to the settings screen
• You have 3 options:
• Use the earphone speaker
• Pair your hearing aids via Bluetooth using your hearing aid app.
• Select T-Coil using your hearing aid app
• Wait for the mass to begin and use the volume buttons (upper right) to adjust volume
