On Christmas Eve, the Children’s Pageant begins at 3:15 p.m., with Mass at 4. Then there are masses at 5:30 p.m. and midnight. (Lessons and carols will start at 11:30 p.m.) See page 3.

As we approach Christmas, we want to draw your attention to the Christmas
Mass schedule.(see page 8)
Our parish will celebrate Simbang Gabi, a Filipino Advent tradition, as part of the 5
p.m. Mass this Sunday December 15 and also 5 p.m. next Sunday December 22. Both masses will be followed by potluck receptions. All are welcome. (see page 5)

Please note that it is a two-week bulletin.
Just a reminder that the parish office will be closed Wednesday through Friday for
the Thanksgiving holiday. We will have a mass at 10 am on Thanksgiving Day (see page 3)
Advent begins on December 1. We encourage you to participate in the Advent
Giving Tree project by taking a tag and purchasing a gift for someone in need in
our area. The tags are in a basket in the church, and in the upper atrium. (page 5)

If you’ve ever wondered, or been thinking about the religious life, we’ll have representatives from more than a dozen religious orders available Sunday at our Vocations Fair, beginning at 6 p.m. (see page 3)
Join us in service to others, as we host the Overnight Men’s Shelter next week. We will need help in several ways, including welcoming and snacks, plus people to fill overnight shifts. (see page 4).

In unity with our Hispanic/Latino community, we’ll celebrate Dia De Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, beginning on November 1st with a special bilingual Mass at 5 PM. Saturday November 2nd we will have an All Soul’s Day bilingual mass at 11 am outside by the columbarium. A reception will be at 3 p.m. Sunday November 3, and we are invited to remember our deceased loved ones at the special altar in church, which will be in place next weekend. (see page 2 and 3).
