Realign Resources for Mission, Sunday August 29, 2021 at 6:30 pm

This Sunday, August 29th, the Realign Resources for Mission Committee invites us to a meeting at 6:30 P.M. at Father Gabriel Richard High School. The committee will present the proposal for parish groupings. The purpose of these parish groupings is to share and maximize resources, for example, priests covering sacramental ministry, perhaps programs like RCIA, etc. You can attend in person or virtually on the Diocese of Lansing YouTube channel. The presentation will premiere on YouTube at 6.30pm. Then at 7.30pm a member of the Realign Resources for Mission committee will be live on YouTube to take your questions until 8.30pm. The Jesuits recently renewed our contract with the Diocese for 3 years. The past few contracts were for 5 years. With this ongoing diocesan planning, the Diocese suggested a shorter contract. It is important for us to share our thoughts and our hopes for the future. We will have opportunities to come together to discern where God might be leading St. Mary Student Parish in this coming academic year. Every participant, in-person and online, will have a survey available to give feedback.
