Fr. Patrick M. Casey, S.J.

Fr. Pat was born in Chicago on March 17, 1941 and received his Grade and High School Education in a parish school and at St. Ignatius H. S. of Chicago.  In 1959 he entered the Society of Jesus in Cincinnati, Ohio. He studied philosophy and English at Spring Hill College. In 1966 he was missioned to Peru in South America where he taught for three years at Colegio San Jose, a Jesuit school in Arequipa. His theology training was in Mexico City and after ordination he returned to Peru where he lived and worked until 2011. While in Peru he served as president of three Jesuit High Schools and taught and served as chaplain in two others. He was pastor of an inner-city parish and also one in the jungle. In 2011 he was assigned to work in Chicago at St. Procopius Parish and in 2014 was asked to help as part time chaplain at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in the same city.
